Although born in Hull, I was brought up on Merseyside and lived next door to a LFC family - oh the crap I had to put up with in the 70s!!

But my point is that there were as many United fans on Merseyside as LFC and Everton put together. That did not settle too kindly on my LFC mates, the Everton mates didn't care. Liverpool fans try and claim that they are all from the area whilst United fans dont even come from Manchester, load of rubbish of course.

Liverpool fans who actually go to games emanate from North Wales and Ireland. Look on the M53 and Speke airport when LFC are at home!! And Queensferry is a sea of red heading to Liverpool!! But they will not have it - It is called jealousy.

As for Spurs, I was a Spurs fan at Sat teatime and was absolutely delighted with their result v Chelski, the Tesco team. Now, as long as we can beat you next Saturday, you can have max points to the end of the season - deal?

    Another Spurs fan here.

It's been a fantastic week for Spurs and generally a pretty damn exciting season - not only as a Spurs fan but for the neutrals too.

Gotta be Liverpool for me, but the other half supports Arsenal so we get a bit rowdy in the household at times :)

    Newcastle United FC.

I worked in Manchester for 4 years and never met a Man U fan; they all supported Man City.

My daughter's U-16 team. None of the drama that you get from spoiled, over paid pro athletes.

As for the EPL, I tend to pick a favourite depending on the match. Usually Liverpool or the Spurs, but never Man U.

The only club from Manchester that isn't in debt - FCUM... they've totally rejuvenated my interest in the game, reignited the old addiction and helped exorcise me of the abject disillusionment I have in the total load of bollox that the modern corporate game has become (though I'll still watch 'big United/'the franchise'... ... on ceefax!)
