I don't follow the 'Wall' anymore apart from a cursory glance on the results if its on the TV on Saturday. I was more of an 80's fan with the likes of Terry Hurlock, Tony Cascarino and Teddy Sheringham.

Up north because of women

  2. They were the players I watched when I 1st went in 88. Ian Dawes at left back, Les Briley as captain then 1st division games !! Oh well I suppose league 1 will have to do for now hahahah

hahaha there are worse reasons !!!

You guys remember the 6-1 at Fratton Park, would have been, ooh, March 1991? :)

That was our last game before a FA Cup Semi-Final against Liverpool at Highbury and they were giving out priority vouchers for Semi-Final tickets. I Remember it well.

  4. Yh it was the week before my birthday in 92 and I try not to remember days like that James hahaha.

It's all about Exeter City! The first British team to play Brazil (1914 in Brazil) and to have the dubious honour of at one time having Uri Geller and Michael Jackson on our board...

    CSD Municipal, CONCACAF champion 1974.

Father played with the team for 18 years (bottom row, fourth from left), so I think it's a blood thing...

The only team to come from Manchester.

That'll be City for me then.

Supported them since real men were German paratroopers......

James....did I see the words 'Portsmouth' and 'glory hunters' in the same sentence?

It has now been confirmed that the dust and ash affecting flights in Europe have nothing to do with an Icelandic volcano. Someone decided to clean out the old trophy Room at Anfield!!! :D

Gotta love Barcelona but the team I watch most often is my daughter's club. League and Cup champions in 2009.

What! You a Fulham Supporter???:lol::lol:

I'm not sweating at all - its great watching all the Liverpool fans talk about "Next Season" and constantly talking about Manyoo's demise. Been doing that for 20 years now. Broken record or what???

Nearly as funny as when Liverpool fans cry out about the importance of the matches against Manyoo. United have outgrown Liverpool, just another 3 points to be won or lost at this stage. Whats it like to have become irrelevant??

I never mentioned next season, im quite happy at the thought of winning the Europa to go along with the other 11 European trophies we have won............. and 20 years constantly talking about the mancs demise you aint achieved what we have yet in the same timescale so YOUR DEMISE STILL AINT FINISHED:lol: when you have we will talk about who is IRRELEVANT;)

Ha Ha!!! I notice that you guys have stopped talking about DOMESTIC titles, oh so now Europe is the important one is it?? Used to be that domestic titles was the yardstick Liverpool fans used to determine success, now its European Trophies ! Funny that.

Now on to this 20 year timescale and achieving what Liverpool have. Since 1990 what have you guys done? 1 Champions League (We've won double that!) 1 Domestic Title (We've won 11 times that) 3 FA Cups (Not bad, but we have 4) 1 UEFA Cup (Well done! We never won it!) 3 Carling Cups (same as us). I'm sure you dont to go into all the shananigans of Charity Shields or World Club Championships (or do you?) So you see, you're not exactly setting the world on fire are ye???

As for our demise, 3 Premierships in a row, 1 Champions League and runners up in the last 3 years! And this year we're still playing for the title (albeit tentatively but at least Utd, unlike Liverpool, were in the running for most of the season!) Liverpool can scream all they want about their achievements but most of them happened BEFORE 1990 and your chief competitors are now Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City!!! You guys are as relevant as Rick Astley's Chart Success. it all happened 20 years ago!!
