www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/ scroll down to the iron cross and digest its content Hasn't her motorbike trip through Chernobyl been found out to be a hoax? If that's the case, what's to say the rest isn't publicity seeking?
Look here at the submerged Sherman http://www.serpentswall.com/page33.html quote "Sherman was an American tank which Soviet Union have been receiving with other humanitarian aid. Whatever they say about Shermans thickness of the armour or gasoline engins, Soviet never looked a gifted horses in a mouth, gladly received help "unquote At least some Russians are Thankful for Lend-Lease,unlike some members of this Forum. Good find egbert(see you back on GWF sometime?) If the tone changes and the mods do a more thorough job instead of chasing off so many 1st Bn pals -yes:sign_war:
plant-pilot, Do you have more information please I don't know if it was a hoax or not, but there are plenty of fourms out there that are deep into dicussions on the subject. some say embelished rather than hoaxed, but my point is it would only be done for the publicity so what about the rest of her postings? http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/weblog/comments/1026/ http://www.eboards4all.com/204927/messages/1283.html
you can't deny there's some fascinating pictures on there though, it's sat on my Favourites (ooer) for a while now, some amazing stuff still lying on the surface, illustrates the sheer geographical scale and ferocity of the Eastern fighting, in most smaller countries this stuff would have been cleared away by now. The East is BIG.
Just had a goo back at the photo albums that she has posted. Wide variety of stuff up there, completely random, from Pocket Battleships to Alpenjager inspecting damaged Mark IV's! But well worth a look. didnt bother with anything else, the photos speak for themselves.
