I used to visit there quite often; several years ago. There is a lot to see in a small space. Yhe collection is exactly that - a collection with no interpretation. Parking is tight. Be careful about putting your car in a questionable parking spot - or you will likely get a ticket. Next door is (or was, I don't know anymore) one of the best military history bookstores. It has odd hours. If you like to buy books, then look out, they will get your money. Cheers , Marc

Since it is not certain whether the German Defense Technical Study Collection is maintained permanently in Koblenz, you should definitely take the opportunity to visit this unique military museum.

No other public exhibition in Germany has such a widespread survey of the development of the German and international army and infantry equipment (weapons, vehicles, apparatus, equipment and uniforms from the early 19th century). The Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung (WTS) of the Bundeswehr in Koblenz with 7,200 m2 of exhibition space is one of the largest defense technically oriented museum exhibitions in Europe.

The Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung (WTS) Koblenz is next to the MHM Dresden , the Tank Museum Munster and the Air Force Museum Gatow one of four museums in museums and collections within the Bundeswehr .
