    Gerhart Schirmer

    Poland, The Netherlands, Corinth, Crete, Russia, Tunisia, Italy, Normandy, The Nertherlands (again). Taken POW in Berlin in 1945.
    He later reached the rank of Colonel in the Bundeswehr, retiring in April 1971.
