Walcheren 1944

I know there’s a few threads that discuss different aspects of the month-long battle for the island of Walcheren in October/November 1944 (I’m including air attacks here, not the battles on South Beveland), but I thought I’d start one that’s a bit more all encompassing for more general queries.

First off, I’m trying to find the source of a quote. In the lengthy report on their role in Operation Infatuate contained in their war diary, 4 Commando refer to Eisenhower stating that it was “the most daring and gallant operation of the war". I’d like to find the original source of this statement, which was presumably a communique from SHAEF. Does anyone have any idea where it might be found?
