    This photo is from my Uncle Leslie's collection. He served with the RCASC in NW Europe.
    The photo is a glossy 6 inch x 4 inch with a typed inscription glued to the back.
    Not know where he got it.

    The Dutch town is the town of Breda in the SW corner of Holland. The Poles stayed here during the winter of 1944/45 until they were committed in north-east Holland near Coevorden in April 1945. Here, among others, they liberated the Dutch town of Emmen.

    I' m still looking for more info on the Polish operations in April. Are there's Amy good histories that cover this time period?
