Varsity - Aircraft crashes between Meuse and Rhine

    Crash landed C-47 - probably broken.

    1) Since the start of this thread 42-92774 is listed as pin526 Alpen/Bönninghardt. Advisable to read.
    2) There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that it might not be the same aircraft. EOD !

    Repeat the two aircraft in your video are not related. Albert's identification of the crash on DZ 'A' as 42-92774 could be wrong - don't know. There is also this Bonninghardt crash by eye witness Norman Ward.

    A Reminder

    Dear list keeper at some point you really need to switch around the Xanten (PIN 500) and Sonsbeck (PIN 530) crashes. C46 44-77637 came down at Xanten and 44-77581 crashed at Sonsbeck. ... ;)
