Probably not the correct place to ask for information about US troops in WWII but if anyone can direct me to a useful site for my enquiry I would be grateful. I'm pretty certain that my father was picked up by US Troops from the 42nd Division at the back end of the war but without some form of confirmation on that point it may just have to be a family story. I'm going to visit Kew shortly to double check the matter but at present it seems most likely that he didn't complete a Liberation Questionaire so unless I can get some details from an alternative source then my enquiries are going to hit a brick wall.
