Good shots. All I could say is Sea, Land(?) & Air in that order but I guess you already knew that! Trying to make out the Middle chaps cap badge but I can't and I'm away from my photoshop pooter so I can't enhance it... If it's definitely a ww2 shot(??) weren't there only a relatively few Units that wore beret's like that?? (AFV's, SPG's (RE & RA equipped with such vehicles) etc, Commandos, Marines, Airborne, 11th Hussars and Motor Battalions of Armoured divs??? I'm guessing I've got the wrong end of the stick here.) My experience of Black and white photography leads me to suspect the beret is green or blue, RAF regiment? Rambling unhelpfully now so I'll stop. Cheers, Adam.

morse, von poop, thanks for the info, merchant navy......hhm, not sure who he is then, engineer, could it be a para- engineer, had an uncle in those at ahrnem. also mum had a cousin , whom, i believe flew in a lancaster, maybe the last one is of him. morse, i am not sure what a fairey battle is, a training plane? steve
