Traveling WWII Exhibit Opens

    The Fly Girls of World War II traveling exhibit recently opened at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial in Arlington, Va.

    The exhibit is dedicated to the history of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) and includes the "WASP Film Strip," an "Above and Beyond" tribute, a 26-foot WASP Timeline, WASP stand-ups, uniformed mannequins and hundreds of photos.

    The exhibit is scheduled to remain on display at the Women's Memorial through November 2009, before continuing its nationwide tour.
