    Trying to track my Dad's movements during WW2. Know he served in the Middle East. I know he was wounded in Sicily on 09/09/43. His casualty list no: 1234

    Any help that I can get will be gratefully received,

    Hi,

    Your best bet is to apply to MOD for his army service papers. Cost £30 - money well spent.

    The 578 Field Company, R.E. was part of XIII Corps Troop Engineers.
