    Hi

Firstly I would like to apologise in advance if I am posting in the wrong section, or post too much, or ask questions already answered. I will get used to it, I promise.

My Grandfather enlisted in 1929 (RAF) and served around 36 years or more. His rank on leaving was a WO2 and he served with a few squadrons, Bomb Disposal being one of them. My father served around 12 to 15 years in the parachute regiment during the 60's and the 70's, and my brother 25 years in the parachute regiment from new recruit to Sgt Major from the mid 80's.

When my parents died, I was left all that my Grandfather had collected throughout his service, and I have quite a large collection of trenchart, papers, photographs, medals, uniforms, shooting awards to name but a few. All these items were kept in a large RAF trunk.

I need some help on some of the items, but as this is an introduction topic, I think I have to ask my questions elsewhere.

I look forward to getting to you know you all a little more.

    Keri
