Thanks all for the well wishes. The family have been great with preparation and baking cakes etc. I was chief chef on the grill I have had a great day, but now clapped out and ready for bed! Pictures to follow in a few days as I am off to bed soon. Regards Tom
The weather turned out good but I did not get too much time to take photographs as I was occupied cooking at the grill. Still everyone seemed to enjoy the different meats and prawns I cooked and there were no cases of food poisoning reported. I just had the one Meyer with sound in operation with some Luxury Passenger Wagons in tow and the loco ran non stop for several hours flawlessly. Track magnets placed at strategic places produces the whistle or bell sounds and so I could let it run alone, whist I cooked. I could not have wished for a better day and the following days were also very nice and sunny as I enjoyed a few days away in SE Germany. Owing to a computer problem I cannot as yet resize and download my photographs but will try and get them posted soon. Regards Tom
