    Hi,

    12 Jun 1968

To mark the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the RAF, sixty members of the Queen's Colour Squadron "RAF Regiment" shared guard-mounting duties with the Brigade of Guards at Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St James's Palace and the Bank of England - the first time in the RAF's history.

The guard was completed on 9 July.

    Regards, Mick D.
