Three Pieces of Black Ribbon Worn (by Royal Welch Fusiliers)...

I stumbled across this bit of newsreel on Pathé. The date is unclear but the 30 Corps patch and the uniforms have a definite look of NW Europe to them. It might be post-war as the displaced persons seem to have some uniforms amongst them. Anyone know who the Lieutenant Colonel is ?

Clearly the Flash on him, I came across a chap a while ago... but can't recall who sadly off the top of my head.

Its also worth noting that further evidence has uncovered the Flash in Normandy - attached to some Fusiliers helmets.
