The small town of Pofi during ww2

  1. hi all of you, I'm a new member of your forum, I find this really interesting your work, I look for any information about my small town: Pofi, is located at 40 km from Cassino and about 80 from Rome. freed from the 11th brigade (Perth regiment, CBH and Irish regiment of canada), from my research I deduced that probably all the Canadian troops have passed from this place, now I ask you if some of you have relatives who passed here during the ww2 and if they have their testimonies, I also ask you if you have annotations, names, curiosities, maps, lists of fallen, all that can connect to Pofi. thanks to the availability

    Soon we were in the Pofi area and the First Canadian Division moved through taking over from 11th Brigade. Being in Regimental Headquarters, I do not think that I was ever past Pofi. But our guns were still in action until the fall of the town of Frosinon
