I have been asked a question recently by a friend of mine and I was wondering if anyone can help. They are wanting to know who liberated the small village of Coudray which in upper Normenady in the county of Eure close to the forest of Lyons AKA La ForĂȘt de Lyons, the village of Lyons La ForĂȘt, Lisors, Saussay La Campagne and Ecouis. Does any have any documentation to suggest who it was that liberated the village? I know that the lads of 53rd Welsh Reconnaissance Regiment and the 15th Scottish Reconnaissance Regiment were in the area but I have nothing to suggest who liberated this small village. Any helo in this matter would be much appreciated. As I seam not to be able to upload an image of the map for the local area here is the google maps link. https://www.google.fr/maps/place/27150+Coudray/@49.3473236,1.4270411,12z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x47e6d5fc926e0175:0x40c14484fbba990!8m2!3d49.337221!4d1.5055?hl=en Cheers!
