I'm devastated to say that we lost our Jasper yesterday. He was diagnosed with lymphoma of the abdomen which had spread to his lungs. We noticed him slowing down over the last few weeks, but when he went off his food we knew he was in trouble. The house is so quiet without him:
Thanks Gents. His brother, Conran, who you can just see behind Jasper in the background, doesn't know quite what has happened. We'll have to watch him for a while now.
We heard an odd sound in the garden today, shortly followed by a next door neighbour asking if we'd seen the new kitten...Yep !
Seems like Ukrainians are using a special cat unit to protect beaches in Odessa https://twitter.com/faineg/status/1510073278601342981?cxt=HHwWisC9va3p7fQpAAAA
Explosion in a cat factory, by Dave a year or so back. He's all over me this morning. They know when their humans are a tad weirded out. Though I'm reasonably sure he thinks he's a human anyway. Not terribly 'cat' in many ways. Falls off narrow things. Fetches.
This little guy showed up on the back porch a couple years ago and wouldn't leave; persistence pays off. Named him Sherman, of course. (Please forgive the double-sided-tape-coated file folders on the bookshelf; he's a bit of a climber... )
In my post above "TT"* is glowering at Clyde. That tom is 26 pounds and 39" nose to tail. *Tiny Tiger, Hissy Missy, the Vomit Comet, etc.
