We have just uploaded the first of these legendary archives for your viewing pleasure

If you haven't had the chance to see this iconic footage, it is now available on online only at British Movie Tone

Really sorry but not available to US, UK or Germany

Currently, there is an excellent 3 part series on Winston Churchill and an 8 part series on The Royal Navy with more coming as soon as we can upload them.

Does seem strange, that the UK cannot watch these movies? Nor the USA or Germany, any idea why you have done that? Yet want payment in dollars? Nice idea but strange operation.

I should have definitely explained that heh?

So, interestingly enough, the British Movietone catalogue is now owned by an Aussie operation- Newsreel Archive ... but that's not why it not available on Fillim in the US, UK and Germany.

The reason why we can not show it to the US, UK and Germany is that, unfortunately, there are still ongoing TVOD (transactional video on demand) licensing agreements in place in these territories. Until these agreements expire, we can show Movietone to, literally, the whole world apart from the US, UK and Germany.

Also, as far as the price goes, Fillim do not set the price for movies being shown through our platform. That is 100% up to the distributor, producer or filmmaker. There are no costs whats so ever to our content providers. We take a 30% cut of all revenue generated and you, the audience, have the option of renting or buying. Content is available for streaming only to provide the best security we can for our content providers.

I probably could of answered that without the essay, but communication is the key to all successful campaigns no?

Question - Has anyone seen this footage before?

Edit to add - We are registered in Australia but we are an international site. Most of our content comes from Europe and the US and most of our content can be viewed worldwide.
