Hi, I am looking for some help with finding more details regarding the circumstances of the death of Sub-Lieutenant (A), Leonard Francis Cradock, HMS Condor, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve (originally Sergeant, Royal Air Force).

Born in Cardiff in 1920, he was killed in an air accident on the North Sea Coast of Scotland on 14th September 1942, whilst serving with the Fleet Air Arm, 769 Naval Air Squadron at RNAS Arbroath. He was 22 years old.

Would really like to try and find out a few more facts about the incident if anyone can offer any information?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Ceri.
