Karl-Heinz died 26 Sep 1942 in Ignatenki, Smolensk, Russia (Gefallen).

Thanks Stefan, I am mostly interested in the locations (and dates) where he was stationed in Poland and Russia. I am trying to map the locations of all my relatives who served. See here CARTER's family history and Genealogy New Zealand

 

Some of the writing is not clear, but here we go for some at least:
Bromberg in West Prussia, today Poland
Berlin- Lichterfelde Germany
Rustonka, today Poland
Pustrushka small town in Russia
Rorotjimia, as above
Merkuiishi, as above
Dubrowka, as above
