There should be a WiIliam Munny option.
You do wonder what these very disturbed people get out of this.
Like Naval gunfire, sheer volume has a power all of its own..
Clicks = people conned, or successful advertising... depending on grade/perspective.
Look at the numbers on the service that collects (and then distributes) our reported Spam Emails, and many other forums etc.:
two hundred & seventy-three million,
four hundred & sixty-one thousand,
four hundred eighty-five.
Just addresses... And each address could create thousands of spam posts if allowed to.
Think of the tiny tiny percentage of successful clicks required to classify it as a worthwhile 'business'.
(If they were charged, as per Otto's thought, just 1p to register an email - that'd cost £582,734,614.85 to feed that wave of cack... which might rather calm their nonsense.)
We let them pile up for a day or so.
This (probable) bot has not gone away.
Off to clean them out... Sigh.
Commiserations Von Poop - how do you find the energy?
Maybe shut down and start up again with different brouser?
ps Sorry stupid idea.
I know nowt!
I admire your determination.
Auto-spam corralling them nicely now, but seems to be the same bot disconsolately chuntering away.

Spam attack on 11.11.21 , I tried to see if there is a way to flag it up directly to Admins to eliminate the post and the 'new' member. Is there another and quicker way to flag up these kind of posts please? I've eventually managed to find 'report' on the suspect post so hopefully that does the trick.
you just report the post on the Report button at the foot of the post and admin knock em out
Yippee! These spam posts are more than just a nuisance.
Just binned it.
Thanks for reporting.
