Something for Destroyer fans

    A Tamiya 1/700 scale waterline kit of HMAS D68 Vampire, World War II. Very small of course and with all the models that I have built, more off than on, since about 1957, I never tried 1/700 scale, until today. Besides a modeling knife I used a toothpick, tweezers, flashlight, and Tamiya extra thin cement. It’s good stuff because it leaves very little glue marks around what you are trying to glue and gets down into the cracks. I used two decals and an Australian flag on the stern. Rather than buying and spraying that plastic imitation water, I just used the picture from the box and glued her on. FB7CDD9A-0255-42DC-8476-78C16373D989.jpeg
