And it worked! The first picture is three recce officers; David Breare, Peter Taylor and George Long (brigade RC Padre), the first two were Lieutenants at this time I'm pretty sure, don't know about Long. This from Peter Taylor: "We were on leave from Quetta...As we only had uniform we procured civilian clothes, David's better than mine!" Next photo shows Peter Norman Lycett, John Ware (in uniform) and Breare again, presumably on the same leave (this photo was labelled 'Sitting on the memorial arch, New Delhi') The next photo was labelled 'Interrupted bath in old training area [Breare is the bather] Dudley Wynter my 2 I/C in the foreground, grenade wounds still apparent [this was an accident in training I'm pretty sure]' The men in the background are Jimmy White MC (shorter) and John Ware again. The last photo is a rather sad one as at least two of the men pictured are buried in Burma, it was captioned "Outside a Dak bungalow on the same party, Ron Adams standing beside me" Adams is the big man in the middle (KIA) and the tall thin guy sitting in front of him is Frederick Holloway (KIA). Breare is on the end with hands on hips wearing shorts and jersey, and I'm not sure who the other two guys are. Apologies if I'm posting these in the wrong place?
