Would a man who served in both wars have his records stored at Glasgow?

I know most of the WW1 were destroyed and WW2 are in Glasgow but what about someone who was in both?

    Cheers

    Andy,

When I applied for my g. uncle's WW2 record, I was pleasantly surprised when I received copies from both wars. Cheers - Maria

Makes sense, especially if it is for continuous service. I think the furthest back for any I have seen is the mid-1930's, this was for pre-war service on the North West Frontier. Good to hear that Glasgow are not contained in their thinking with WW2 applications. :)
