Nearly the entire site (among others) is devoted to catching the unwary and planting seeds of doubt. I, and I'm sure the rest of us, am entirely uninterested in anyone posting something from there with no other comment, it would inevitably lead to the usual effort to stir up familiar 'arguments' (as is their standard aim). Sadly this is one darker area in which the interweb's proved very handy for propaganda purposes.

It is what they exist for , they count on catching the people looking for information - trouble is there seems to be a number of people who almost seek or look for soewm sort of "conspiracy theory" in everything - their lives are not complete without it and it is the less aware they are aiming for. What sickened me most is that these charlatans will provide " education packs" to teachers. Faurission in particular trades on soundbites and these you see repeated time and time again - the whole issue just makes me sick and not a little angry.
Provided we keep a tight watch here and don't allow this Nazi-Wannabe bovine faecal matter to invade this forum, together with the usual ignorant videogamer pricks whose only reading of the subject is the games blurb, all will be well. One of the greatest shames about the History of WW2 is that the study of the Great Patriiotic War/Ostfront is bedevilled with people like this who have a politically motivated/revisionist agenda and use every opportunity to try and subvert the path of the truth. Add to this the stereotypes about the combatants and the attitude of some westerners towards the old Soviet Union and one can begin to understand why Eastern Front threads can and do end up in rows and frustrating discussions. We have done, can and will do all we can to ensure that this sort of thing doesnt happen.
