Hello, I am new to the Forum and have just acquired an OBE group to Commander Richard William ANSTICE, Royal Navy. He was awarded the OBE [London Gazette 14.11.44] "for distinguished service during the landings of Allied Forces in Normandy". Could anyone help me please regarding the ship he served on at that time?? My local libraries do not have any Navy Lists for WW2. Hope someone can assist. Ian.
