I have been supplied a photograph of what locals believe was a pow camp at Roe Green, Manchester - SD 7471 0198; SW corner of Ellesmere Golf Club. The row of houses can be seen, but the camp does not appear on old OS maps that I have seen, but it is hutted. A scout camp was built on the foundations of one of the huts. Italians are remembered being there. Does anyone have any info on this site? Best wishes - keep safe - Malcolm
