Reputation system

I was just thinking-well its great to have points-but wouldn't it be great if they could be redeemed at Tesco or somewhere else on your shopping

Dunno about that as I have had not a single rep since November 1st! last year....... but I do have £18 in points with Tescos since roughly the same date

I've got no idea how many Tesco club points my family have amassed and neither should you.

Repping is a good thing on here, but as members have already said it can be very subjective and hit and miss. I would like to give out more, but often it is to those who have received from me before, so I'm curtailed in that respect.

New forum members who receive great advice and help in their early moments on WW2Talk often fail to reward, but this is probably because they don't know that they can.

In fact, negative reps. can be a badge of honour. When Andy assigns those to me I know I must be doing some good.:p

 

I just wanted to say (if anyone is actually interested), that until now, I had never really taken much notice of the reputation system. I suppose im like most people and that I just use computers and software for what I need and have no interest in going any further than I have to.

So if people have helped me and given advice (and they have) and I have not given them a reputation point, then my appologies. I'll try and start doing it!

Is it possible to move the 'reputation system' from the bottom right of a post to the bottom left i.e. under the username/profile picture?, as I think its present position is easily overlooked, to a more accessible position.
