The Arnhem Roll of Honour lists the Field Burial site of Private K. Tarling as alongslide the Klingelbeekseweg which is on the River Road near to old Oosterbeek Laag Station. Given the date of death as 19th Sept, this would have occurred during the Battalions retreat from the outskirts of Arnhem to the Perimeter at ooseterbeek.

He is listed as serving with Battalion HQ as the CO's driver.
