Lance Corporal Lionel Morgan was killed at Moerbrugge, Belgium. His last words were to my father, after their C.O. asked for a Bren gunner to take out a German 20mm gun: "You stay, I'll go." Lionel left the building they were in and was killed as he ran to the next building.
