Remagen, anyone been there?

    They had a new item on display at the Ft Benning Armor and Cavalry collection today.

    Here is the back. It looks like they repurposed an existing German sign.

    Yes, I spent a day looking around.
    I was staying in Cologne and got the train to Remagen.
    From the railway station walked down through the village.
    There is a First World War cemetery where the Military Memorial has receuved battle damage.
    Walked along the riverside path to the bridge which has a great Museum.
    I recommend a visit.
    Its a fascinating place for anyone interested in ww2.
