Regimental Centres and Corps Depots in India

    I recently came across this three page list of the Regimental Centres and Corps Depots in India early 1944. It was in 202 LOC War Diary. It may be a useful research source for those on here researching their relatives postings or records. The quality of the originals is poor but readable.

    Meandering around in the Indian National Archives (Abhilekh Patal) I found that they have a file for many of the Regimental Centres for 1941-7. Some are in War Diary format but most are monthly reports on numbers dispatched to Battalions, Numbers Killed and Wounded, Recruitment etc. Interesting background. As in most War Diaries the level of detail varies.

    I used the search Regimental AND Centre for titles and content.
