Hello all, What would recommend as most interesting / researched material for the final fights in the Netherlands in April 1945, that is after the Operation Plunder and the Rhine crossing? Among others, I suppose there exist some (good) books by Dutch authors - but I'd need those in the know to point them. Thanks, Mori
I would recommend: Stacey's "Victory Campaign" Mark Zuehlke, "On to Victory" There are also some very useful reports of the Historical Section of the Canadian Army: http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/cmhqr-rqgmc-eng.asp & http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/ahqr-rqga-eng.asp e.g.: http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/cmhqrd-drqgmc-eng.asp?txtType=2&RfId=152 http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/ahqrd-drqga-eng.asp?txtType=3&RfId=208 http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/ahqrd-drqga-eng.asp?txtType=3&RfId=228 http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/ahqrd-drqga-eng.asp?txtType=3&RfId=221 http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dhh-dhp/his/rep-rap/doc/ahqr-rqga/ahq056.pdf
