RED BERET

    Sold on ebay today a RED BERET, dated 1944 complete with small moth hole and no badge, 22bids £800, still does not make a container load worth a life, (ABTF).
    It would be nice to think it was bought for a veteran who lost his 60 odd years ago but I doubt it

    I would have copied all the WW2 Para battalion war diaries for him for £800 :lol:

    I've got my Dad's 1944 GPR Red Beret together with badge ... I wouldn't sell it for the world.
