Can't find much at all Bazz. 'Only the Enemy in Front' says " The birth of the Reconnaissance Corps also brought the necessity for the establishment of training centres for its personnel. The Rifle Brigade depot at Winchester provided a temporary first home for a Reconnaissance Training Centre but as the Corps expanded three training centres were created. These were Nos 1 and 2 Reconnaissance Training Centres at Halleaths Camp, Lochmaben in Dumfriesshire and at Scarborough as well as a Tactical Training School at Annan, not far from No 1 Reconnaissance Training Centre." The Training Centre was established at Winchester in February 1941, until the home of the Corps moved to Catterick, North Yorkshire. Birth of The Reconnaissance Corps Lesley
