Can't find much at all Bazz.

'Only the Enemy in Front' says " The birth of the Reconnaissance Corps also brought the necessity for the establishment of training centres for its personnel. The Rifle Brigade depot at Winchester provided a temporary first home for a Reconnaissance Training Centre but as the Corps expanded three training centres were created. These were Nos 1 and 2 Reconnaissance Training Centres at Halleaths Camp, Lochmaben in Dumfriesshire and at Scarborough as well as a Tactical Training School at Annan, not far from No 1 Reconnaissance Training Centre."

The Training Centre was established at Winchester in February 1941, until the home of the Corps moved to Catterick, North Yorkshire.

I've found some very old pictures of the Rifle Brigade Barracks at Winchester. Very interesting to see them. (Make sure you see the pics on BOTH pages):)
