I remember the heatwave of 1976 which lasted about two months, there was drought, hosepipe bans, lots of people with their water cut off. This will be all over by Wednesday.

I've got a zoom call in 15 mins. Pretty sure I'll have to put a shirt on unfortunately.

 

I live a few miles from Heathrow, always a hot part of town on days like today. My car temp is currently 39 degrees C. This however is not stopping the builders next door excavating a new waste water pipe in our shared drive!

 

I have tickets for Shepherds Bush Empire tonight and being an idiot, I'm still going to head in. Should lose a stone in weight.
