RASC insignia.

Hi All,

I have had a family enquiry about a RASC Driver and his possible Chindit connections. One of the photos shows a Pith Helmet (see below) with a very distinctive insignia. Does anyone recognise it?

The clues I have are that he served in North Africa early in the war, before moving across to India, possibly Burma in 1943-1944. There is also a mention of 419 Company, RASC.
