R.O.F. (Royal Ordnance Factory) codes

    Hi all,

    On a Sten Gun Mk.5 there are markings on the magazine housing assembly which read R.O.F. 69 and a serial number starting with "A".
    Does anyone know which factory R.O.F. 69 was and does the serial starting with "A" give any extra clues?
