Question! Is this a real SS Weremacht '44 WW2 Mess kit?

    I just bought it off Ebay for 200 bucks. Its supposed to be a mess kit that was used in 1944. Its got a few dents and some rust. Its green. Ill show the interior in detail in the photos .

    Is it real?
    Experts only please! I hope it's real and I know im probably going to be told both things. Experts only please.

    This forum is Allied centred, in particular British and the Commonwealth.
