Puts the Haynes Manual to Shame

    These notes where written by Lt D Wallace of the
    109th LAA Royal Artillery Regt that I have in a
    collection and would put the modern Haynes manuals
    to shame, they were written at the R.A.M.T.S. in
    September 1943, I am thinking the previous stands
    for Royal Artillery Motor Transport School? I think
    you will agree the details of the drawing are fantastic!
    For obvious reasons this is only a very small selection
    of the images that are in the book, if you would
    like to see more I could probably copy the book
    and send it to you in the post (it would take to
    to download/upload).

    Seriously, though - don't forget this was an era when the "skill" of drawing was taught in schools. Even thirty years ago we still had to draw the setup of chemistry experiments etc.
