after 18 month of cock ups etc my grandads records have arrived. it seems he was a bit of a bugger. there is 1 or 2 bits I carnt make out or don't understand. 1, after his injury he spent 4 year at what looks like penrith but not sure 2, it seems he got sent down for 2 month in 1941 but his record has no entry from 1941 to 1943 seems strange im sure there will be other bits I don't understand as I get round to reading them a bit more. please feel free to read them and comment on them as I sure I have a lot to learn. many thanks simon
