    Drew and Diane - THANK YOU for posting this diary, its a goldmine of information for me about 51st AT Regt. I have been looking for details of what the Regt actually did from late May when they arrived on the Somme till the surrender at St Valery.

    My grandfather, then Lt Col E.K. Page, was the CO of the regiment. As my family emigrated half way round the world when I was quite young I only saw him twice after that. Unfortunately I never really got to talk to him in detail about his experiences as like many others of his generation he did not go out of his way to discuss them.

    Thanks again for making this information available.
