    Hi,

Forgive me if this is a stupid question , but perhaps someone can help,

I have a relative capture at Calais sent to Lamsdorf, what German Organisation would have advised the ICRC in Geneva that he was a POW would it have been the Camp at Lamsdorf or some central organisation, likewise when he died in Lamsdorf 12-12-1940 who would have advised the ICRC in Geneva

    Any Help appreciated

I'm not sure who would have informed the ICRC; however, you may find the details from them.

The German Camp Authorities reported P.O.W. Deaths to the I.R.C.
