I have been asked if I know how many Danes who were prisoner of war or internees in the Far East.

Are there anyone who is aware of a database or something else. Where you can find names and/or search by country.

    This IWM phrase:
This to me raises the question was Denmark, occupied by Germany, regarded by Japan as 'allied' and an enemy? Wiki helps:
From: Denmark in World War II - Wikipedia

The Australian IWM recommends: Archer, A study of civilian internment by the Japanese in the Far East 1941–45, [B. Archer, Essex], 1999

JSTOR has two articles on civilian internees (free after registration) by Felicia Yap ten years ago, she was a Fellow in International History at LSE. Also maybe available via: Felicia M. This passage from testimony to US Senate hearing suggests Denmark pursued a legal case against Japan after WW2:
