The top part of this plaque says; To assist the conduct of Allied operations over occupied Europe it was essential to gain access to electronic secrets of the German radar named ''Freya'' One of these radar stations was located at Bruneval, near Le Harve, Northern France. I took these 2010. This is Thruxton airfield. Hampshire.
