    Spike is back, I guess that with the cooler weather he thinks winter is on the horizon. Havent seen him since 27th May except for the odd shot of him dashing past his hibernation house to check its still there. This will be his third year if he sets up home again this autumn. At the end of the month he will clean out the old nesting material and replace it with fresh dry leaves.
    The young fox was a cub last year but there is a new one now.

    One of “our” squirrels this morning. Not sure if it was just foraging or starting to bury nuts etc for the winter.

    Had a beautiful one fly over my pond t’other day but had no camera to hand and it was long gone very quickly.

    Although an emerging shrub blossom this has a very animal appearance.
