This photo is from my grandfather's POW diary. It is untitled and without any names. As he was kept at Marlag M - Marlag und Milag nord for most of his time, I am quite certain this photo is taken there, especially as many of the men appear in other photos which were taken at Marlag M. Be great to be able to name any of these men. My grandfather - Sgt DK Barrett RM MNBDO is in the back row, third from the right (tallest man). Front row, second from left - believe to be Bluey Lee (AIF)
If you go to the AWM site (www.awm.gov.au) Collections search and type in any of the terms you have (such as Marlag) you should get umpteen hits.
Hope this works I believe this photo was taken during 1941-45 Marlag und Milag Nord and is of PoWs the photo belonged to my father he was a PoW during this time, he is not in this photo would appreciate any possible identification with thanks Jeanne
