His details are as followseter Cairns Date of Birth 6 May 1917 Date of Death 20 June 2003 Service from 15/02/1940 to 15/05/1946 Army Number 2759397 Ist Battalion the Black Watch RHR From the link you sent looks like 1st battalion The Black Watch joined the reformed 51st Highland Division 154th Infantry Brigade I have postcards from1943 and 1943 from Ist Battalion The Black Watch R.H.R.- one of these has the logo from that site with a blue background and red HD He was mentioned in despatches (around 1942 we think) for his conduct at the battale of Wadi Akarit in the North Africa campaign Thank you if you can assist in this matter.
